The Departmental Academic Advisor is available to provide academic guidance and answer questions about your degree requirements, but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure you fulfill all degree requirements to graduate, which are listed in the ASU General Catalog.

1. Get cleared for registration
2. Receive advising on which courses to take
3. Obtain a course override
4. Change your major
5. Get answers to transfer-related questions
6. Receive final clearance for graduation
7. File a Declaration of Graduation (D.O.G.)
8. Seek help when you're struggling academically in your course(s)

Before you see your Academic Advisor . . .

1. Call (480) 965-2335 for an advising appointment.
2. Bring the following items to your appointment:
   • Curriculum checksheet
   • Current Degree Audit Report (DARS)- http://www.asu.edu/sos
   • List of courses you plan to take
   • List of any questions or concerns
