A Practical Workshop in Modern Vacuum Technology with Hands-On Laboratory Sessions

Description:

Vacuum concepts, equipment, and systems information will be presented to give the attendee an operational knowledge of modern vacuum technology.  Equal emphasis will be placed on theoretical and practical instruction.  Workshop time will be equally distributed between lecture and laboratory sessions.  Lab sessions will consist of exercises to provide hands-on experience with and a working perspective of the vacuum techniques and systems principally used in industry, academia, and government laboratories.

Target Audience:

Researchers, engineers, and technicians who require an understanding of modern vacuum systems.

ASU Attendees:                 $100 for the two-day workshop.

Schedule:
Lecture session 9 AM to Noon at Goldwater Center (GWC) Room B16, lunch break, Lab session 1-4 PM GWC B18 for each day. Visitor parking is available at the ASU Fulton Center garage on College Avenue north of University.  Directions will be provided to off-campus attendees.
